NUS Intellectual Games Introductory Workshop
The details of the workshops are as follows:
Weiqi Introductory Workshop / Reversi Introductory Workshop
Date: 10 February 2009 (Tuesday)
Time: 7 pm to 9 pm
Venue: MPSH 4
International Chess Introductory Workshop / Chinese Chess Introductory Workshop
Date: 17 February 2009 (Tuesday)
Time: 7 pm to 9 pm
Venue: MPSH 4
These introductory workshops will be held during our training sessions to introduce people to the game. The first hour will be the captains teaching the participants and the second hour will be members playing with the participants and teaching them. These workshops are for beginners who do not know the basics of the game and I feel that it won?ˉt be difficult for members to teach them the basics.
Publicity booths
Lastly, we will have publicity booths at the following dates and venues:
Wed 28 Jan 10 am to 6 pm / Arts Outside Central Library
Thur 29 Jan 10 am to 6 pm / Arts Outside Central Library

Mon 2 Feb 10 am to 6 pm / Science Outside LT 26
Tue 3 Feb 10 am to 6 pm / Engineering Outside LT 6
Wed 4 Feb 10 am to 6 pm / Engineering Outside LT 6
Therefore, we require you to help man the booth. The Events Director will e-mail you shortly about the timeslots which you can sign up for to man the booth. There will be two persons at the booth at one time. Please help your club by signing up for 1 or 2 timeslots. As a reward for members who help out, there will be CCA points awarded and registration for the competitions will be free.
That?ˉs a lot of information to digest. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions.
Thank you.
Regards,
Anthony
